Research

Students in the Department of Political Science regularly engage in research, both on an individual basis and in concert with their professors. Recent areas of student research include the following:

  • Sustainable Transportation Policy in Developing Countries.
  • Sustainable Agricultural Policy in the Third World.
  • Presidential Governing Strategy of Going Public.
  • Women's Participation in Cambodian Politics.
  • The Influence of Women's Participation in Politics on Foreign Policy.

Working closely with their professors, students in political science gain invaluable experience outside the classroom in excavating and articulating truth that sheds light and insight on the political life of a people. Student-researchers in the Department of Political Science have had the honor of presenting their research at professional conferences.
