Dr. Hutter hails from the Lake of Constance area in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, but has lived in the US since 2006. She has taught all levels of German and is a learner of all ages. At UP, she has taught mostly upper division, including a class on crime literature, 1920’s Germany, Film and a survey course. She enjoys sharing the diversity and variety of German language and culture with students, and is eager to support them in their future endeavors. In her free time, she loves to read and write, travel and work in her garden.
