The German Studies minor is designed for students who want to achieve practical and culture-based proficiency in German to broaden their horizons and meet the increasing demand for people with world language skills and intercultural competence.
Students completing the German Studies minor will be able to:
12 lower-division credit hours in German courses or equivalent.

Three 3-credit hour courses in GRM at the 300 or 400 level |

Any 300 or 400 level approved elective

With departmental approval, students may choose to take one 3-credit hour course taught in another department that has significant content related to German language, literature, or culture. |
