Why Study History at UP?
- We offer all majors High Impact learning opportunities including internships at local museums, opportunities to present research at professional conferences, the ability to conduct research with faculty and to publish their findings. Numerous history majors have gone on to receive Fulbright awards and grants.
- Interdisciplinary major that supports many other fields of study (e.g. ILC, GWSS, ENV, Hellenic Studies)
- Every student at the University is required to take at least one history class at UP, as the department is central to the new University Core.
