There are several aspiring lawyers at the University of Portland, in addition to students who enjoy learning about the legal system. These students have funneled their skills into University of Portland’s Mock Trial team.
The Collaborative Humanities Investigating Religion and Power (CHIRP) lab working group on religion, gender, and sexuality is in the midst of a research project on the intersections of gender, sexuality, and faith identity formation.
Funded by a $635,000 grant by the National Science Foundation, our own Dr. Laurie Dizney, Assistant Professor of Biology, will lead a three-year research project to study the effects of urbanization on wildlife survival.
