Career Preparedness

The College of Arts & Sciences provides students with a premier liberal arts education that includes knowledge-based, experiential, and integrative learning--this is the liberal arts advantage. Within the classroom, students gain the knowledge and skills that are in high demand by employers, and that allow them to pursue meaningful and fulfilling careers. Outside of the classroom, CAS students can pursue a wide range of internships for credit that help them put the knowledge and skills they learn in the classroom to the test in the professional world. No matter what students choose to study within CAS, our intentional focus on helping students access the knowledge, skills, and experiences that comprise the liberal arts advantage, ensures that all CAS graduates leave our campus with everything they need to thrive professionally in our current and future economy.
