Students wishing more in-depth research experience may complete an independent research project for credit (PSY, SW, or SOC 494). For those interested in graduate school this is a valuable opportunity to design, carry out, and write up your own experiment. Graduate schools are very interested in students who have had research experience outside of the classroom. If you are interested in this option, speak to your advisor.
