David Wynne
David Wynne's research focuses on understanding how chromosomes end up in the right place when cells divide
Students conducting this research:
- Learn basic genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology techniques
- Should have taken courses at the cell and molecular level, especially Genetics and Cell and Molecular Biology are useful
- Can participate in research in the spring, summer, and fall terms
- Spend 3-9 hrs/wk during the year and 40 hrs/wk during the summer
Fun fact: Each student feeds and cares for thousands of animals (microscopic worms!)
