Aoehfa Ananouko, '14, sociology graduate of the University of Portland, is currently a Policy Associate with the American Civil Liberties Association for the District of Columbia. Ananouko joined the ACLU-DC as Policy Associate in April 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness, where she supported workforce and economic development research. Projects she worked on include ARC Recovery to Work—which sought to build a long-term recovery ecosystem for individuals suffering from opioid addiction and substance abuse—and MIT Work of the Future—a multidisciplinary research project focused on the impact of automation on manufacturing, skills and education, and mobility.
