German Studies with Language Concentration

Requirements : 

27 upper-division credits in German (courses 300-level or above). For course descriptions and more details on major requirements, see the Bulletin.


Pathway A – Accelerated sequence, with year-long Salzburg program
Freshman year: GRM 105 & 207 (6 credits per semester)
Sophomore year in Salzburg: GRM 311 & 312 (6 upper-division credits)
Junior year: Fall GRM 301 and 353 & Spring GRM 302 and 354 (12 upper-division credits)
Summer after junior year: GRM 391 or DAAD summer course (3 or more upper-division credits)
Senior year: GRM 4xx & 4xx (6 upper-division credits)
 
Pathway B – Starting at 200-level, with year-long Salzburg program
Freshman year: GRM 201 & 202
Sophomore year in Salzburg: GRM 311 & 312 (6 upper-division credits)
Junior year: Fall GRM 301 and 353 & Spring GRM 302 and 354 (12 upper-division credits)
Summer after junior year: GRM 391 or DAAD summer course (3 or more upper-division credits)
