Warren Wood recently received a Medical Research Foundation Seed Grant for a project entitled “Synthesis of Potential Antiviral Compounds Against Flaviviruses.” For this project, students will be making new compounds that were recently identified as inhibitors of West Nile virus and Japanese encephalitis virus.
