Why Study Biology at UP?
- Students are immersed in and “do” biology from Day 1 through upper division courses and through graduation in inquiry based labs.
- Students who come to the university can pursue a wide variety of goals and support programs in health science, independent research, and in field biology.
- Students can complete a capstone that makes sense for their career goals, whether it be undergraduate research, an intense internship in their field of choice or a “synthesis” course such as evolution or advanced ecology.
