You Cannot Undo This Action

Mago Hunt Theater

Written by Conor Eifler and directed by Andy Christensen, the story follows Ronan, a confused young man who, after feeling jilted, carelessly posts the name of Robin, one of his classmates, on an internet forum. The post has deadly consequences, setting the stage for a hate crime. The populations of two local high schools are jolted into shock, grief and anger as students realize how deep and wide their vulnerabilities have become in such a hyper-connected world. Lane, haunted by visions of their friend Robin, sleuths out the cause of their friend’s murder and takes justice into their own hands.

Performances will be held Wednesday, September 22 through Saturday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 26 at 2 p.m.

House of Desires

November 10-14 - Mago Hunt Theater

Siblings Pedro and Ana are in a love triangle-triangle. Pedro loves Leonor who loves Carlos. Ana loves Carlos (who loves Leonor) but is engaged to Juan. Leonor and Carlos can’t be together because Leonor’s father thinks she should marry Pedro. When fate brings everyone to Ana and Pedro’s house, a wild night of confusion and mistaken identities ensues. This hilarious farce demonstrates how patriarchal “honor codes” can be subverted by a beautiful woman with a brilliant mind (and some wily servants).

Performances will be held Wednesday, November 10 through Saturday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 14 at 2 p.m.

The Moors

February 9-13 - Mago Hunt Theater

Two sisters and their giant mastiff live a cramped existence on the bleak English moors. Their lives are changed by the arrival of a new governess (for a non-existent child) and a curious moor-hen. This group of women, all in different stages of self-discovery, fight to be seen for who they really are in the confines of 19th century England. An imaginative riff on the Brontë sisters’ beloved romantic novels, The Moors asks us to consider the societal expectations of women and what happens when they attempt to shatter them.
