Dorothy Day Social Work Program: Curriculum
Social Work Bachelor of Arts Degree
The Social Work Bachelor of Arts degree offers an academically rigorous program enriched by intensive, educationally-directed field experiences. It prepares students to become culturally competent, ethical social work practitioners in a wide range of settings and to assume leadership roles in diverse societies.University Core Requirements -- 39 hours
For the social work major, students must take SW 205, PSY 101, and SOC 101. Two of these three will fulfill their core social science courses.
