"I have always thrived in an educational environment enriched by close personal relationships with my teachers and peers, which ultimately led me to UP’s Psychology Department. There, I discovered professors invested not only in my education, but also in my personal and professional growth. Under their guidance, I developed the empirical basis on which I rest the lens through which I view the world. Moreover, I know that their interest in my well-being extends far beyond my participation in their courses—they have been and continue to always be there when I have a question, am looking for a job, or need guidance about graduate programs. To them I owe much and will be eternally grateful.
I am currently a Research Assistant in the Sleep and Mood Disorders Laboratory at Oregon Health and Science University. Our lab is home to internationally recognized research on melatonin, circadian rhythms, and disorders of the human body clock."
