    Physics: Student Resources

    Professional Physics Organizations

The American Physical Society was founded in 1899 "to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics." Today it is the leading voice for the physics community.
The Society of Physics Students is a professional association explicitly for students. Its goal is to help students transform themselves into contributing members of the professional community.
