Welcome to the University of Portland Music Program!
Our Bachelor of Arts in Music degree allows students to pursue a focused course of musical study within the context of a comprehensive education in the arts, sciences, and humanities. We offer four major tracks, a music minor, and numerous ensembles, private lessons, and academic courses open to students of all majors. Our faculty are active performers and scholars who are dedicated to student success, and our graduates go on to careers as performers, teachers, scholars, and leaders in the music community. We are committed to helping students find their musical voice, while gaining a strong foundation in performance and academic disciplines.
Here you will find a lot of information about our program, including performance dates, course offerings, audition policies, scholarship opportunities, and much more. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions. Thank you for your interest in UP Music!
