Drama: Shakespeare in Ashland
Each year students join Professors Ed Bowen (Theatre) and Jeff Gauthier (Philosophy) for a 6 week exploration of four of Shakespeare's plays. The study, from both a theatrical and philosophical viewpoint, culminates in seeing the plays in production at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. Each play is followed by a shared discussion period. There is a lab fee of $350.00. However, this covers transportation, 3-nights lodging, a continental breakfast each morning, tickets to the four plays plus a backstage tour. For more information about this exciting program contact Dr. Ed Bowen or Dr. Jeff Gauthier .
