Performing & Fine Arts: Music Education B.A.

In addition to the common core of musicianship and general studies, the Bachelor of Music in education (B.M.Ed.) students must develop competencies in professional education and in specific areas of musicianship as they relate to school-based teaching of general, instrumental, and vocal music.

Ordinarily this recommended B.M.Ed program of study requires an overall GPA of 3.0.  Semester loads will be adjusted according to student needs, based on consultation with the music department and School of Education advisors.
