International Languages and Cultures: Foreign Language House

The Foreign Language House (FLH), a coed residential theme house located in University Village, is open to all students in Spanish, German and French. The FLH provides opportunities for language and cultural immersion without leaving campus, but most students living in the house are going to or returning from study abroad. This common study abroad experience best describes FLH mission around cultural diversity and awareness, and the programs and activities faculty and students organize in the FLH include excursions to the opera, international cooking demonstrations by professional chefs, foreign film nights, and guest speakers ranging from poets to business entrepreneurs. Students are eligible to live in the FLH starting their sophomore year.
