"I am so thankful for the Environmental Ethics and Policy program at the University of Portland.  UP's environmental science department - with its idealistic and passionate faculty - helped to instill in me that I have a moral obligation to try and protect our fragile earth.   This program propelled me into a lifelong commitment to environmental protection.  I have since obtained a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and I am currently pursuing a law degree, including a certificate in environmental law, from the University of Maryland."
