Dr. Brassard joined the UP community in 2005.   She currently serves as Director of UP’s Integrated Writing Program, in which she oversees the Writing Resource Center and train our Writing Assistants. She advises English majors and serves as faculty advisor to the English Society. Her teaching and research interests include Modern British Literature, Literature of War, Women Writers, Gender Studies, and Post-Colonial Literature. She has published essays and reviews on the Great War, Modernism, and Jane Austen.
