College of Arts & Sciences: Assistant to the Dean for Communications

The assistant to the dean for communications works closely with the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in areas that advance the mission of the College.  The dean's assistant chairs the Student Advisory Council and works closely with its members during the course of the year. He attends all meetings of the Public Advisory Council and acts as a liaison with members of the Public Advisory Council between meetings. The assistant to the dean also works with the dean in developing the communication plan of the College.
