As our event coordinator, I host all the events for our individual donors including our fundraising, donor stewardship events, and tours. I use principles I learned as a Comm major at UP all the time! From figuring out how to effectively communicate event information with guests, to public speaking, to using graphic design and advertising principles, it's all there! I'm always happy to be a resource for students and new graduates who are interested in event planning as a career option. Event planning is a career I've loved and, as I mentioned, have found my experience at UP prepared me well for.
